Energy for people
I watched a DW Business (Europe) today.
The host of the show asked questions about nuclear energy, Japan, Fukushima disaster.
There were two main points:
- Nuclear power plants are bad, risky, complex, unpredicted;
- Nuclear energy systems are good for the future, ecological and economically decent idea;
One of the thesis repeatedly tells us that we need to move to renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.) and to forget about nuclear power when we think about the future.
The other thesis was logically navigating to the current situation on Earth. Economic and prosperity first, then fear.
